3RD DECEMBER (IDPD: SEMINARS AND TRAINING)
The International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) is on December 3rd every year: this day is a result of Proclaimation in 1992 by United Nation's General Assembly resolution 47/3, the day aims to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities in all spheres of society, and to increase awareness of their situation in political, social, economic, and cultural life. Empowerment for Global Disability and Initiative (EGDAI) being an NGO for persons living with disability seize the day to conduct enlightenment, trainings, seminars and empowerment for persons living with disabilities. Since 2019 till date, Egdai organized events every 3rd December marking the celebration of IDPD DAY. From event center management to logistics, printing of materials to collaboration with resource persons, dawn to entertainments of guest and PWDs: all these leaves a deep cost on budget. So far we have used the opportunity of the day to facilitate trainings and seminars to persons living with disability, hence we cannot stop; You can partner with us on this day by giving us support.
